Sandwiches and a handfull of chips on a small plate £6.75, very small slice of “steak” pie which was mince and onion with the same was £9.75, cakes £5-7 ffs the place was rammed and that was after the lunchtime rush. Northallerton High street as busy as a weekday. Recession doesn’t seem to have reached here yet. This contactless limit at £100 was the cleverest thing ever done, nobody has a clue how much they’ve spent, just swipe and smile. Next....
