Everyone has a right to be a vegan or vegetarian or whatever BUT don’t ram it down everyone’s throats.
Livestock agriculture has been around thousands of years and those communities around those livestock farms have too been around for thousands of years many family farms in this area and others have been in the same family for 2-300 years.
Remove the livestock removes the people.

Says A cyclist !! We all know that animals produce manure which helps keep a healthy balanced soil for the grass seeds you sell !!,Also most normal restaurants have a token veggie meal/meals where as vegan or veggie Do not!! Simples, YOU pay your money and TAKE your choice
The man thinks he is a life coach/our answer to Ghandi these days. Don't get hot under the collar about it ;)

Farmers are your core business aren’t they?
So support them the vegan agenda is THE biggest threat to livestock farming in history.
Only time I’d enter a vegan cafe is in a bulldozer.
I don't support them ,just don't get in a flap about them ,
Not sure were what cycling has to do with the topic though ,

Every time I see a post by @delilah , I'm increasingly convinced he's just a troll account set up by Clive, to drive traffic/posts...

Every post is just a troll point, with dozens of responses- a post declaring undying love for Dale Vince, or how veganism will save the world, must do more for traffic than the rest of the site put together.

If you're not on the payroll, you really, really should be, if you can tolerate taking the corporate shackle....

There are a few accounts I think have a similar traffic driving troll status

Taken from Facebook. A vegan cafe in Church Stretton 🤭

Dear Customers,

Just a little bit of Info…

As I am sure you have realised… in recent months we have changed our menu and become vegan/vegetarian. This was always going to be a risk but has been done for the most unselfish, compassionate reasons.

It seems that this risk has not paid off… our takings have dropped dramatically in those months to the point of seriously considering the future of Blakeman’s.

I have had to leave the day-to-day running of the shop, although still manage it, to return to teaching, because I missed my career, but also to try to keep the shop going financially. I miss all of our customers but this was always the plan

Please be open minded about vegan food. We make really delicious vegan sausage rolls, paninis, sandwiches and cakes - they’re all fresh and homemade. We only ever have positive feedback from those who try our food! Why not try something different yourself? Vegan food has come a long way in the last five years and really is not bland!

If you have any suggestions for improving our (vegetarian/vegan) menu, please do let us know! We love our business and have worked extremely hard to establish it from scratch and would be devastated if closure was the only option!

Many thanks for your support.

Jo & Neil Blakeman

, You’re forgetting that the cyclist has a second life in Brighton now. Vegans might well be his friend.;)
I try my best to be nice to everyone , I certainly would not ask someone what he eats before deciding if I liked him or not , hate can eat a person up , as the post above shows ,vegans are no real threat to livestock farming, I have come across narrow minded towns people, not sure if they are vegan or not , lack of education in rural life and farming couses it , but any education in that would probably fall on deaf ears, no sure what they make of me , they must look on my Facebook page some of them 🤣

You wouldn't have to ask a vegan they would have told you.
The Vegan movement via the mainstream media has put unquantifiable pressure on the livestock industry with mis information on welfare, climate, carbon etc.

Do you know the difference between a Vegan and a terrorist?

You can negotiate with a terrorist.

Given that live off the back of hard working livestock farmers you sell forage and forage seeds to,I suggest you try putting on your FB page how much you like vegans and see how your sales go?
