You've mentioned in a few posts about changing this one to a different brand? Just wondered what's making you steer away? PM if you prefer or tell me to mind my ownNew rear tyres, installed yesterday (fronts installed wednesday). Tractor a bit sh!tty, but will be washed before silaging so pls no bully.

Nothing wrong with it really (except for adblue sensor problems, which seem to be gone), we'd like some uniformity in our fleet and already have two Deeres. Nothing's certain, who knows if we'll even do farming in near future. I'd love a new Case, seems to fit well in my hand. Old man and youngest brother prefer Deere. Maybe we'll swap all three in for two new ones, who knows. You've mentioned in a few posts about changing this one to a different brand? Just wondered what's making you steer away? They can still sell macdon to other brand combines.Dont think that will go down well with THW here. They have sold a number of Macdon headers. I guess they will loose out if new machines can come with them.
Bg
Jd have had Draper headers for at least 20 years. There is a reason why macdon were very popularJD and Claas do now make there own versions of Macdons/Honeybee type headers.
Does that have a chain or a blade?Gave up trying to find a good used machine so had to raid the savings bank- hopefully it will be with us a long time! Tried it in anger for the first time over the weekend and pleased with it- only went through one shear bolt which was down to the long grass hiding dangers underneath
Shaft driven twin rotor blades (and made in Britain )Does that have a chain or a blade?
f**k me thatās rough for 2014, right price though so looks like your onto a winnerNot so new. 2014 kane 16t beavertail. Was 4.5k, plan to strip it back to chassis tyres off and get it professionally shot blasted and painted. Fit air brakes, has commercial axles. Started taking floor off today and bearers in good condition underneath. Should maybe start a new thread on refurbishing it.

Yeah it was used on the new bypass apparently. Must have been near a lot of salt and rough digger drivers going by state of headboard.f**k me thatās rough for 2014, right price though so looks like your onto a winner
Ramp is bit steeper than the regular beaver tail + ramps style lowloaders. But good all rounder really like ours with stock box on as it's nice height for loading cattle + straw jobYeah it was used on the new bypass apparently. It had been refloored already! So next 1 will be 3rd floor.
New ones 16k and a long wait. So got a bit of scope to save some money. Will be handy for moving our 13t digger, will put a 27ft single deck cattle float on it and be used for carting bales too. Hopefully cart hesstons 3 high on it safely with low deck height.
