This is so true. We went away last week for a few days and stayed in a self catering cottage.
The owner arrived in due course to greet us and we mentioned we were going to have fish and chips on the beach for tea that evening.
He then proceeded to tell us that him and his wife were vegan and there was a great vegan fish and chip shop they had "discovered" a few miles away.
We happened by chance to drive by their great discovery during our stay. It wasn't a vegan fish and chip shop at all. Just had a vegan option 🙈🤣.
Was the vegan option “you can feck off”?

It’s the vegetarians I feel sorry for. No idea why so many food outlets have jumped on the vegan bandwagon but it’s seriously annoying those who like dairy products, eggs etc
I don't quite get a vegetarians though ,they don't eat chicken but happy to eat the egg it lays, some eat fish some don't, its sort of a half way house lost in a wilderness is it not

Practical/realistic veganism/veganism for those not hiding an eating disorder? Many of them return to eating dairy and fish at least due to health problems
My wife has an eating disorder and she's not hiding behind it, but mainly certain plants some friuts and dairy , if she has any dairy she would be ill the next day , she would love to eat dairy, its not something she's made up either, she's seen no end of hospital specialist until a top man at the Spire sorted her and put her on a special diet

If a stick had one end you would still get the wrong one.

There’s close to a billion of them in India for a start. Once you’ve eaten the chicken that’s it there’s no more eggs but the chickens can scratch around for years producing eggs. Same with dairy you can only eat the cow once but the cow provides you with milk, manure and urine all useful in peasant environments that’s why it’s sacred. Vegetarians don’t eat fish. Vegetarianism has been going for thousands of years Veganism is a fairly new fad for wealthy nations.

veganism was an “idea” of a Leicester school teacher (male) in the 1930s who taught woodwork
