Tiverton and Honiton by-election

Of course the radical solution which I suggested on another forum was for all those people who were furloughed was to look after their old folks at home, we did with my MiL despite us both still working,I accept not all could but many could have, of course easier to leave them in a home then blame the NHS

IMHO this is what family is all about.

My mother and father cared for me as a child - only right I should care for them in their older age. Which is exactly what I am doing - I also think the world of them, so I guess it's relatively easy for me.

There MIGHT be a point in the future where I cannot look after them but I hope that situation never happens.

Cant say I ever thought I would enjoy looking after our parents but surprisingly I did , my father lived with us for three years but only needed much help in the last couple of months, mother in law was here for three months but that was almost 24,/7 care, making them happy in their final days gave us a good feeling.

You lot are all the same , fuk Boris off but no idea of a replacement .... even a guess would be better .
Surely you can't decide who would be the best replacement until the candidates (and nobody knows who they will be) step up, put forward their policies and show they might be up to the job.

What I do know is that Johnston has become a caricature of the person who was elected after May. I think it's clear now that once Cummins wasn't available to pull his strings and was replaced by Carrie then the wheels started to drop off. Whether you like it or not life long Conservative voters (me included) will not vote for him again so if you want a chance of the Conservatives being re-elected he must go.

What does worry me is that those who voted against him didn't have the nous to wait until after the by elections before they had the confidence vote.

Do you not think Boris and his mates put the letters in to bring the vote forward, guessing the brown stuff would be hitting the fan?

I can't help thinking that Boris and his mob have modelled theirselves on this mob and ended up in the same situation...
