I’m using centre point RTX fast, and it brilliant. Repeatable, quick to find itself and reliable in my part of the world. I’ve been very impressed with it. Put miles and miles of tramlines in with it this year and repeatable every time.

I use centrepoint rtx standard. Very pleased with it. Pass to pass it’s up there with RTK on accuracy and I don’t worry about repeatability as I set my AB line along the first tramline in the field every time I go in to the field, so all the others are found in exactly the same place anyway.

For centrepoint you need to be unlocked to Omnistar accuracy which I think is two unlocks from free egnos. ( I think one unlock just gets you up to rangepoint rtx). Can’t remember how much the unlock codes are but seem to think the yearly centrepoint standard subscription is around £695/yr. As for drift from year to year that’s where you need RTK if you are expecting them not to drift at all. This doesn’t bother me though as as long as you can find and follow one tramline from the previous year you can set your new AB line from that and all the others will be correct.

Hi, you would only need the basic to intermediate unlock only which is £1'884, then the annual subscription which is £650 with multi year discounts available. The accuracy is 2.5cm pass to pass and year to year so you should see 2.5cm drift from year to year maximum

if you need anymore help please drop me a message or give us a call on 01480 861824 option 3

Subscription is ok at £695,bit worried about 2 unlocks, could put up with a bit of drift as long as it’s not too bad,as you said follow first tramline then I should be ok for lines of electric poles etc,
Bit of baler twine tied to fence to mark tramline.

thanks Richard,so I could set my fields up for autumn planting a month before, then when I go into field ab lines would be already on screen ,I could go up and down leaving headlands till last.
I could then save this from one year to the next.
Does the intermediate unlock last for the life of my 750?
Could be just what I need

Hi yes that's all correct, once you've mapped your fields & A B lines they will be available for future use in the correct place & the accuracy licence stays with the CFX so a one off

Wonder why does the deal include trade in of a modem. Sounds dodgy to me, perhaps there is a good reason for that.

On a CFZ750, do I need another unlock from Rangepoint?

Looking at RTX with electric steering wheel, as have been the chinese way and glad to be out of it. If I put tramlines in when sowing, will they be in exactly the same place when needing to put pre emergence spray on in a week or two`s time? will they be in the same place next spring? or is there much drift? Will the tractor steer steady at up to 14km hr without sway?

I use rtx rangepoint for ploughing, works great but will drift. Upto maybe 18inches at most. Sometimes not at all and anything inbetween. I just sit it where it’s supposed to be and press remark and then it’s good to go again.

There will likely be some drift, usually within 15-20cm, just need to press to reset to line.

What do you mean by been the Chinese way?

It would depend if you went for Rangepoint RTX which gives better than 15cm pass to pass, but you will see some drift it you come back at another time. Centerpoint RTX will give 2cm pass to pass AND year to year accuracy, so within the 2cm the following year
