What's the view, are people getting more concentrates given recent milk price rises?

Or sticking exactly to business as usual?
Fed less so far this season, but had big surplus of grass, which have pretty much grazed or made silage out of, probably will increase over next week if growth doesn't catch up.

currently munching our way through second cut at an alarming rate to lengthen the platform and give it time to catch up, we went over it too quickly last time and close to peak milking numbers before starting to dry the autumn block off beginning of august.
Free draining river ground on the platform started burning off last week, 5 days after a damp afternoon, we’ve had a bit of rain since, but ground still rock hard.

edging up on concs, grass is more standing hay, than green, eating into second cut, just to extend the rotation. R//grass headed, clover, herbs and other grasses, still just about growing,

that's some r/clover/ryegrass 2nd cut, on some of our driest ground, thankfully its not all like that, but its not really good anywhere exposed, bit of sheltered ground, its all right, but can't get the cows to that. Elsewhere, by extending the rotation length, we are getting slow growth, herbs don't seem to worry about dry weather.

What have you cut that with? A 4ft PZ?
