Just need to get the grain buyers to dump it
I would think that the beef and lamb side imploding like it is will won’t help red tractors desperate attempt to cling on to the payroll provided by farmers at all.

I haven’t seen any sort of praise for them outside of there own paid staff for several years now and membership numbers are obviously in decline.

This month's CLA magazine happens to have an article extolling the virtues of RT:-

'RT is a leading food chain assurance scheme that underpins the high standards of British food and drink.'
'Around 75% of British agricultural produce is assured through RT and partner schemes.'
'The scheme provides benefits for all. It has been independently verified as a world leader in food chain assurance.'
60,000+ inspections every year
'Findings from our post inspection survey shows that our assessors are consistently rated highly, and around 90% of members believe the time taken for assessments is reasonable.'
'RT provides an opportunity for the UK to reinforce its leadership position in delivering exceptional food quality and standards that are affordable for all.'

Still blindly blundering on totally ignoring the members who pay his wages then.

question is will he keep on digging till there isn’t a ladder long enough for him to climb out of the hole he’s in.

Had the Welsh version of the little Hitler's around last week, picked up on plastic and scrap, WTF, they can go take a running jump into that hole the English Red Tractor are digging.

They need to read their own notes of guidance. :sneaky:
Just keep it in a tidy heap ready for recycling. Better for the environment

Farmers have been telling RT they're over stepping the mark on standards for last few years. They haven't listened, and think they've got guaranteed income, so can do what the like. Farmers are voting with their feet as individuals, and we're getting organised to be in control of the situation. No longer will RT pull the strings.

They've been able to dictate the standards because NFU has either gone along with it all (they are, after all one of the owners of RT!!), or been too weak to challenge it. Personally I'd say they've at a minimum gone along with it, if not supported it.

The British Farming Union will sort this out, but we need the member numbers. £10 membership, get the numbers, and we have control.

Think the membership has grown 10+% over past few days, and we haven't even started promoting yet. Communication system being built, boring stuff like privacy policy to sort, then we're away
