javid always seemed to me not the greatest bojo fan so not shocked....he resigned as chancellor co he couldn't appoint his own advisors.....which opened the way for rishi's meteoric rise.....bojo made him so i'm a bit surprised he 'ratted out' quite quickly

Penny Mordaunt. Always seems to me to know what she’s talking about, can easily hold her own in a debate and has a military background which might be handy in the current situation.

If the Tories want to rescue hopes of being re-elected, or even to force a hung Parliament, they will need someone from the back benches, someone who is not tarnished by a connection to the current bunch.
