Some of these removable tow bars did have a habit of doing exactly that. Why the cronk you would want an electronic folding tow bar I have utterly no clue, but then why you would want to ever tow a caravan with a car I have no idea either.

Back in the day, I used to pull a 12' Ifor cattle trailer to Builth a couple of times a year with a dozen shearling rams on board, hooked on the back of an Audi A6 TDi. It used to fair fly and was a whole lot more comfortable than rattling down in the old pick up we had at the time.

Thankfully, modern pickups have moved on a good way in comfort.

I'm pretty sure @Hilly Had a log splitter on his post knocker it was a fair piece of kit
