Local pubs are gossip holes imo and for getting an unhealthy beer belly, probably go in our locals 3 times a year.You can’t beat the pub for a good chat an a bits craic but when twenty quid don’t buy a round of drinks for four of you it becomes expensive!! When you can buy 8 cans for a tenner it makes the pub look a pîss take, which it is really now!! I can’t justify it when we live on feck all an I’ve got two littluns an a mrs at home, ten years ago I’d of been like you, pîssed an hungry
