How long is to long to wait for a fitter/mechanic to come, phoned dealer 10 days ago wondering if they could send someone out, needing the laptop plugged in to a tractor( tractor is working fine just need a couple of things done before harvest) workshop manager said there very busy and have men on holiday, no problem I said just anytime in the next week would be fine, just fit me around other jobs. Never yet heard back and have left messages, with them. Am I being unreasonable to be getting slightly annoyed now ?

I’ve stopped being flexible and now tend to squeeze a firm commitment out of people. Will call HQ if they don’t show or phone with an excuse within 5 minutes of the time, yeah I might be known as a pain in the backside but I pay on time so people are happy to do the work.

Just go with a second, light hearted like ‘did you forget about me’, type phone call.

Don't like to bother people to much, I have phoned them today tho, the service manager said they have had lads on holiday and off sick( they have because I found from another source and weren't just saying it) going to phone me back in the morning and let me know what's happening! So fingers crossed

spoke to workshop manager at local dealer, we’re very busy etc etc but if you can drop it down to us we will fit it round other jobs wen someone is spare.
So dropped it off following morning (a Tuesday) and said would it be done by end of week, yep should be,
got a call the next day to say all done. And the bill wen it arrived was reasonable as well.
Now that’s service .

Yep bailer went down, twit of a bearing i couldnt get off rang local nash dealer sat morning. I was baling hay by half 12 cant fault that.
