Seals y brecs ol neu ymlaen. Odi’r echel [axle] wedi ei dyni a’r brecs ei hun wedi ei ail neud. Os do fe, efallai fod y seals wedi ei wasgi a cael niwed. Dyla golli ATF am wn i, oś mae na beth sy’n bod. A wyt yn siwr mae ATF sydd yn y botel hytrach na DOT4?

Fi’n siwr dy fod yn gwibod fod yn fantes fawr is siarad Cymraeg. Dym gymaint ‘down below’ ond mae’n wraig lawr yn Abergwain heddiw a mae pob un oi ffrindiau yn rhigl. All the lads from Crymych were up here for a wedding the other week and that’s just over the hill from the ‘line’ and most primary schools down below teach through Welsh until a certain age. More and more are choosing to learn and speak it for social as well as business reasons. Not something to feel guilty about of course. You must ‘want’ to learn and speak it. Jeremy Vine of radio2 had great fun learning some basics.

Personally I prefer to and am more correct when writing in English but I certainly make the effort, in whatever language, to speak the language of the area concerned. I was at a wedding near Haverfordwest some years ago and a guest on my table was from Bristol but had apparently never crossed the Severn Bridge more than once before. He started going on about the waste and confusion of having road signs and some place names in two languages. Of course I heartily agreed and said that it was an absolute nonsense that they included the English versions in Wales. He didn’t see the irony when he replied “Oh no, that’s not what I meant”. The bloody cheek of it! If in any other country with their own language, they will not make all or even any signs in English for their convenience.

It can go too far of course. For instance some idiots objected to the brand name M&S use for their homeware section when displayed on their Aberystwyth shop front. Nobody in their right mind wants to translate English or German or French brand names into specific Welsh words, but some extremists apparently do. I’m an internationalist no a nationalist and I despair of the UK’s rift with the EU and even more at the Nationalist ambitions of Scotland and Wales. That is totally separate from wanting the language and distinct regional cultures to thrive.

Fel mae y chwadan yn deud, olew ATF, os bod DOT 4 di bod ynddo fydd y seals rwber wedi perisho. Ydi lefel olew yn y pot yn mynd i lawr? Os bod debyg bod gollwng or silinder fach tu fewn ir echel.

Heb weitho ar Antres fy hyn, ond maenhw gyd i fod ethaf tebyg. Un petha arall i drio fyddai gwaedu hi ffordd groes, gyrru olew i fynnu or deth ar yr echel, mae hyn yn medru gweithio os da chi cael traferth gael yr aer i gyd allan. Yn sicir, dyna yr unig ffordd i gwaedu rhai pethau, cydiwr lori Volvo FL er engraift.
