Seems all inspections have stopped as loyds have lost contract in scotland
Lloyds were supposed to be replaced a year ago by an organisation more focused on animal welfare improvements and less on a "tick box" scheme according to this article from the ScotsmanSeems all inspections have stopped as loyds have lost contract in scotland
I heard it was nation wideSeems all inspections have stopped as loyds have lost contract in scotland
Word is grain is movingWell, the mills will have to take grain without passports then.
Hopefully this is the beginning of the end........
We had our red tractor dairy/beef with Lloyds back in June, but my inspector for combinable crops (not Lloyds) said he had heard Lloyds had to have staff from red tractor in head office overseeing all operationsI heard it was nation wide
When you say lost, do you mean they can’t find it? I’d have thought their paperwork filing would’ve been top notch….Seems all inspections have stopped as loyds have lost contract in scotland
My passports turned up on Friday. Inspection was done 3 weeks ago. Inspector did say that they were going to struggle to get round everyone tho.But no passports issued
Their'll dream something crazy up no doubt?Well, the mills will have to take grain without passports then.

NFS, I believe had a old bag.....I mean inspector from Ireland doing red tractor pig audits as there was a chronic shortage of UK inspectors. By all accounts she was god awful and pulled lots of farms up on the most ridiculous of things, I dodged the bullet and had a half sensible auditor a fortnight before she landed on her broomstick from Ireland.
I had my RT cereals audit last week which should have been done in November, I got the impression there's a shortage of auditors and they're fed up with the backlash from farmers about how daft it all is.
The chap I had was a perfectly sensible pragmatic type but I still have him a bit of grief about annual sprayer mot when legislation says 3 years and the fact my RT grain can be tipped at a mill and mixed with imported stuff but still come out as RT assured feed.
Got my stickers inspection is normally in the spring they keep ringing for a audit date but they arnt coming here till sfter harvest now by my choice and then i might drop outMy passports turned up on Friday.
