Bargain haha

I sold that trailer about 2 months ago to a 2nd hand machinery bloke for £5k.

It had belonged originally to his late brother and he told me he really wanted it back to keep. I asked for £6k, he claimed it was only worth £5k. Have known the chap for 20 odd years and always thought him fair to deal with so I took his word for it as to its value.

6 weeks later it was in Cheffins at Cambridge and he made £9.5k. Now the dealer that bought it is trying to get £12k for it.

He didn’t respond to my text after the sale….

That is a bugger for you, i cant see anyone paying 12 for it. New price would have just been over 10 wouldnt it. Credit to you though, ive always liked the woottons in those colours.

Bad job but cant take anybody on face value these days.
Once somebody has paid for something its theirs to do as they wish. Hopefully karma catches up with them.
Madness that trailers are worth so much.

It was always worth more than £5k!
