Convenience and costSomebody had a grinder wagon roll some barley in our yard last week, and sure it was £18/£19 per ton.
It was quick and efficient and I don't know why you'd try to buy and run a decent mill of your own, at that.

Usually called the mobile mill/mix. I wouldn’t advertise the fact you hosted the grindr mobile roadshow at your place, or how cheap and convenient it was compared to doing it yourselfSomebody had a grinder wagon roll some barley in our yard last week, and sure it was £18/£19 per ton.

I pay 14.50 per tonne for 25 tonne. Takes them 3 hours. When I did it myself with our hammer mill, it would take me 2 days to do 25 tonnes.Convenience and cost
I was offered £247 ex farm August or £252 September yesterday.Any prices for feed wheat ex farm?
One is coming to Uk and another one going to Ireland this is to help relieve third world hungerOne of the first few grain ships coming out of Ukraine is heading for Ireland or UK.

R&H Hall ( owned by W&R Barnett)bringing 33,000 tonnes to Dublin & Foynes Port .. animal feed , meanwhile very little feed being sold to beef farmers and “NO” it would never be to depress prices !!!… Believe the commercial director of R&H Hall said it was a momentous occasion for the company to help Ukraine … You couldn’t make it up ,, Really!!Doubt they will see any of the corn till its value has been multiplied several times.
In the meantime handy for keeping the price of homegrown down.
Sounds a bit like Putin liberating the UkrainesR&H Hall ( owned by W&R Barnett)bringing 33,000 tonnes to Dublin & Foynes Port .. animal feed , meanwhile very little feed being sold to beef farmers and “NO” it would never be to depress prices !!!… Believe the commercial director of R&H Hall said it was a momentous occasion for the company to help Ukraine … You couldn’t make it up ,, Really!!
They also operate out of Belfast and presumably can ship stuff back and forth across the border. No doubt you would need a sticker should they lower themselves enough to buy British.R&H Hall ( owned by W&R Barnett)bringing 33,000 tonnes to Dublin & Foynes Port .. animal feed , meanwhile very little feed being sold to beef farmers and “NO” it would never be to depress prices !!!… Believe the commercial director of R&H Hall said it was a momentous occasion for the company to help Ukraine … You couldn’t make it up ,, Really!!
Shur , do you need as much help as Putin ? Maybe so !!!!They also operate out of Belfast and presumably can ship stuff back and forth across the border. No doubt you would need a sticker should they lower themselves enough to buy British.
Sounds a bit like the supermarkets buying boat loads of lamb from NZ in when it’s peak season here, unless it’s maize or sunflower or something we don’t grow I can’t see why they would need to put wheat/barley or rape anywhere near here. Unless of course the boat is taking back something useful for the Ukrainians but I thought that was bannedOne of the first few grain ships coming out of Ukraine is heading for Ireland or UK.
Maybe Lizz is going to send a boat load of Albanians backSounds a bit like the supermarkets buying boat loads of lamb from NZ in when it’s peak season here, unless it’s maize or sunflower or something we don’t grow I can’t see why they would need to put wheat/barley or rape anywhere near here.
