Too much thatchers

always looking on the bright cider of life 😀 and keep getting more cows 😂
There's quite a few 'hobby' farmers who ave got no grass around here and are off loading 'pet' cows . They put them on 'pre-loved' or 'SML' and very often quite cheap . Have bought 7 in the last 2 wks .
It's in dry times like these that it suddenly dawns on them how expensive feed is when you are having to feed out in July !

Yes they mature the individual cuts in the vac packs, much of the rest will be long sold/eaten by the time they come out. Don’t forget not all of it by any means ends up on Supermarket shelves these firms all have multiple meat brands of their own for the wholesale trade, it’s quite interesting if you go on their websites
When I was in they had the usual boxes for Sainsburys, Co-op, Lidl, but they also had trays of kneecaps, all nicely packed, going to China, and trays of the rubbery tendon from the back of the head all going the same way. And they weren’t for the dogs to chew on either !
