Getting into the closing stages of this peculiar beauty parade.
On a personal level neither appear very attractive propositions as leaders of the UK.
But which one will do least damage or improve the country depending on your point of view?

Oh dear…nothing like creating bogeymen, to distract the plebs. Now that the EU dragon bogeyman has been slain, it’s jolly well time to identify, demonise and slaughter another one. Oh, here‘s one hiding in plain sight. It’s the civil service itself. Hitler would be so proud...he did bring in legislation for the reform of the civil service afterall…rooting out any and all not complying with his outlook.

Oh dear….you prefer the Torygraph as a more appropriate wiping material, for your more intimate areas.🥴. Guess what…
Worst of the whole rag bag of Tory drivel has to be the Express.
Utter blinkered trash and hog wash from front to back.

I dont prefer any media over any other standard of journalism is very poor thesedays, the only thing they are interested in are headlines that create sales, internet hits and viewing figures, the truth has very little to do with it. Any politician that speaks the truth about virtually any subject gets torn to shreds because it offends some small section of society.

IMO Sunak is the safer bet as he does appear to at least understand what the job entails. But I get the feeling he isn't really committed to the UK as a person. And I guess if he fails to become PM he will be off back to the USA or possibly India to resume his financial rise. And I don't think Sunak will be especially good for the UK's support of Ukraine.

However, Truss I think will carry on with Johnson's support of Ukraine, but in every other aspect she is just emptyheaded and unworldly. Just a pity Ben Wallis didn't stand, but I expect he was smart enough not to atm. :scratchhead:

Fact still remains, she has openly declared the civil service as “woke” and intends to tackle the “problem”! End of story. The media are simply relaying the facts in that regards, as well as the facts in regards to civil service union reaction to her position.
Where is the media tearing anybody to shreds here?
Facts are Truss is a classless idiot, far, far removed from the type of character, you would want or need as PM. She’s little better than a lowley parish pump councillor type to be fair. Still, when all fruit fails, welcome haws….
