Can't believe this is still going ahead, last night we had 32 fire engines battling a 15 acre forest fire and they are still intending setting of Chinese lanterns and fireworks

Admittedly this photo was taken on the 1st September 2012. That ‘summer’ it would have taken napalm to set fire to the crop, the polar opposite of this years weather.

Some clowns had firework display going off last night in distance??

Also over by coast some nutter had a garden fire and spread to corn fields ,luckily been combined but total nutters out there????

Waitrose, Sainsburys and one or two others have stopped selling disposable barbecues. Tesco is selling them on special offer, which pretty much sums up which retailers take their responsibilities seriously and which don't give a flying f**k.
When they’ve off loaded stick, Tesco can virtue signal they have stopped selling them.
Cynical? You bet. 🙄

I’m not sure I got sent a video of them trying to work ground to stop it and it looked like the whole field luckily the smaller block behind the houses not the larger blocks towards the sea
