I was spreading in a chopped straw, wheat stubble field on Tuesday and there sticking vertically up out of a crack in the ground was a 4ft stick from a rocket firework.
It must have been let off after the field was cut otherwise the combine would have nipped it off.

Waitrose, Sainsburys and one or two others have stopped selling disposable barbecues. Tesco is selling them on special offer, which pretty much sums up which retailers take their responsibilities seriously and which don't give a flying f**k.
