Volunteers wanted to assist with gay farmers’ helpline

A CHAPLAIN who runs a helpline for gay farmers, Keith Ineson, is asking for volunteers to help cope with the demand for the service. Mr Ineson started the helpline 15 months ago as a sideline in his work as a Salvation Army rural chaplain in Cheshire. He said that he became aware of a need for a helpline when some farmers confided in him about their sexuality after having suffered years of depression.
