The skid unit manitou used was an industrial version, i once had some one manage to shear the front half shaft off! (would be rear half shaft if on a tractor) new from manitou was £1kish, i took it to a guy that broke IH tractors and expected to get a second hand one but when we looked at them...
yes if your bedding with it then i would say the hydro will be best IF you can set the forward speed independent of the engine RPM like you can on the V plus.
Yes there is a decent starter for it if your in UK i can supply you. BUT what other hi torque starters have you fitted cause high torque and fast starters are basically the same thing.
Fairly sure the powershift isnt an option on the 630, so limited your choice to 4 speed manual or the hydro.
The hydro isnt quite going to drive like the V plus 140 models though but its probably better than the old 4speed box imo?
The hydro/vario does not use the 90deg transfer box so imo...
They have no liners in a 1100 series engine from factory, some people have bored and sleeved them if worn out but liner will be very thin and not go in to the water way.
Liners cant really move UP anyway as the head is pressing them down! but some types do have seals at the bottom BUT NOT...
The box is okay but the tray is rubbish really. in binned the trays and kept the box for some odd random stainless bolts and washers i got. screwed drivers went in the tool box.
I bought this set a few months ago. Dont use them much but look nice :ROFLMAO:
