I would be grateful for any help with diagnosing this problem.
The engine starts fine then it stops, or runs at tickover, I dab the throttle and it stops.
Then on the second attempt it might struggle to get going as though it was not running on all 4 cylinders ie a bit rough, or it might start...
We thought this baler gave a fixed diameter bale. Ours has the Bale Track Easy monitor and during haytime the monitor was telling us the bales were oversize. Supplier couldn’t fix it immediately but later replaced the potentiometer. Too late, we found out the diameter can be adjusted on the...
We have an old 1994 LD manual vari width 4f Kverneland plough.
We need a ram from something like an LB plough to convert it into hydraulic vari width.
If anyone knows of any KV plough breakers who might be able to help, or actually has such a ram we would be pleased to hear from you.
Attached are photos of our 1967 IH523 pulling our “New Improved” Mollison potato digger circa 1890. We greased and oiled and it went well. This was a small area planted when we expected a quiet summer locked down, so in the end the crop was neglected. Too may weeds. My grandmother was from...
Our number 2 steading is 1km from home. There is line of sight vision from barn top to barn top, but not sure if it is an exact straight line due to odd trees. The steading is accessed from the highway by a 300m lonning from the N and the same from the S.
There is no internet on the steading...
We hope to buy a cow or two at a sale in mid September and they can be taken to the mart at Cirencester by the owner, to be picked up and brought to my farm.
The timing of the trip is flexible over about 3 weeks post sale. If you can help please let me know on 07826 03 7775.
It’s a long shot but we have a standard pallet with a tractor gearbox about 400kg to go in no particular rush from Carlisle (either ex farm or at the Carlisle machinery sale ) to Portlaoise ROI.
Proper loading facilities at each end of the trip.
If you could help please call me on 01228 675637...
Just bought an immaculate LZ 515 drill through this forum. Sadly a guard covering the metering chains and sprockets on the L side was lost in transport.
It is a 3 sided box but not easy to work out the detail for fabricating a new one.
If you have such a drill please could we have a few photos...
Help needed please. Our hydro charge pump is getting tired and flow is tested low.
Where could we find a replacement pump? I would be very grateful for any information to point us in the right direction.
Please can anyone help diagnose this problem which is proving difficult to solve.
New tractor.T175 dynamic command.
3 point linkage just stops working. Will not go up or down with the slider or quick lift button. It will still work albeit slowly on the armrest blister buttons . The % height...
Does anyone use a portable moisture meter to help decide if hay is fit to big bale?
The sales people I have contacted say if reading 18% or less it is ok to crack on. I know it is an inexact science but does such a meter inform the decision to go / no go or is it too inexact to rely on?
Please can anyone help with this little problem?
New NH T6.175 (145 HP and a boost in hard work) is our first tractor to need adblue.
I gather the fluid goes off after about 18 months maximum.
If we get a 210l barrel for about £90 and a £30 hand pump and a 2m delivery hose that seems a...
Would be grateful of any guidance on what to do with the calf when the galloway cow just has the one productive quarter. Calf wasn’t doing well after a few days so brought in and tubed. Gave everything vet said. Calf fine now. Then discovered cow problem.
Can we carefully guide the calf to the...
Our Hydro has ancient 13.6x 36 radial tyres.
We need to replace them and wondered if anyone knows whether it is possible to fit wider tyres on the existing rims? There appears to be plenty of room.
Thanks in anticipation.
