Lots of stress and breakdowns, but finally got the silage clamped on Friday night, wife and daughter came home (they went off on holiday on Monday without me) to help sheet and tyre the...

Anyone have the calculations to work out how much silage I will have in a clamp. Want to order some sunshine in a bottle, but need to know how much. Have tried a few online silage clamp calculators but are getting wildly different numbers. The clamp is 22m long, 10m wide and 2m high. And go...

    Loader for 4000

Bell housing bolt holes are the same from the 3600 up to the 8210, 4100 and smaller have a different front end , so will have to look for 4000 or 4600 or 4610, not to say you could modify one to fit. Keep an eye out for a Steelfab quick detach loader, that would fit the 3 and 4 cylinder fords...

If you think it's bad here.....

Seen this this morning on Facebook POWER OUTAGES Due to insufficient generation to meet New Zealand’s load demands, we’ve been instructed by Transpower (the national grid operator) to reduce the amount of load on our network with immediate effect. As a result of this there will be rolling...

    Wire price up again

Grandfather fenced most of this place in the early 80s with pressure treated soft wood, the rest is oak posts from an earlier time. I've 3 fences left with the oak posts but the netting is getting past it, but the fencing done in the 80s is now all failing, mostly the posts, but in some places...

    Pick up mpg

My 2011 ford ranger 2.5 tdci did 30 mpg going down to Bedfordshire, with a 12ft ifor flatbed, stuck to 60-70mph, but had the air con flat out. Tyres are a mix of cheap road tyres on the front and cheap Chinese all terrain on the back.

Bit of a disaster in the parlour last night, one of the cake feeders gave up due to metal fatigue. New shovel part made, the handle cut off and rewelded to the new pice, and jobs a good one. Same shovel as my grandfather used in the early 70s, just 2 new handles and 4 new heads 🤣🤣🤣
