    Watercourse Depth

I've had this argument with well qualified people several times, it's only when you explain to them that once a sponge is full it cant hold any more water they grasp it, the look on their face when it dawns on them is priceless, then it again dawns on me that these sort of idiots are actually...

    Watercourse Depth

We have a river here that my grandfather put a concrete pad on a cattle drinking place so it was easier for them, it used to be level with the water level but is now at least a foot if not two above the water, I assume rivers just keep scouring their bed especially if flows increase due to...

    Labour want another lockdown

Fishing idiots. The vaccine programme is slowing because some dont want it, you can imagine the noise captain hindsight would make if vaccines were compulsory, and boosters aren't available for most yet

New homes gas boiler ban 2025

Conservation officers are a law into themselves, nearly as bad as planning officers. There are two ways to deal with them either give in or fight, I did the latter and won hands down, you just need to know the law( they often dont ) and be prepared to battle it out

    The "I`ve got it" thread...

When we went to the states in 2012 we were shocked how fat a lot of the police were especially in NY, perhaps it was all the ditting on the bonnets of their cars on the street corners that does it.

Cant see that you have made any suggestions that could have reduced deaths that didnt happen here, the media especially the bbc and captain hindsight were full of criticism and wanted more lockdown but couldnt actually suggest anything that was achievable

If you look at the average over the world from first reported case to lockdown we were pretty average, apart from uk citizens/workers returning no one from abroad would have come in as everything was shut, only essential shops and businesses were open, not sure what else could have been closed...
