Official explanation at present is the very first production builds of FendtOne were fitted with all 4 camera ports as per the build code chosen.
However they had issues with the analogue version not working in tandem with the digital option so were left out.
A new digital switch box/ controller...
I remember when we shifted from a 718 and an 820 to two new 724's and we all thought "why did they change that?"
Again we've moved to a new operating platform and ask the same question.
I guess none of us look for too much change but I have to say after a bit more time again today there is a...
Quite a bit different from our current S4's and potentially a little intimidating for a new to Fendt operator.
Personally I don't think we're any better off with all the changes, well at least not for what we do.
I would have been just as happy to have a second screen and the old layout.
Same here Richard.
I can't even think of anyone I know who is running digital cameras.
Bit of a trap, as it turns out all the first Gen 6's have been inadvertently ordered and arrived with just the digital sockets.
Just missing the two cables up in the roof but fortunately there is enough hand space to fit them without having to take the roof off.
Problem is the cables have to come from Germany and given the current state of freight and supplies down here I'm not sure how long that might take.
Bit of an update.
When you order camera connections, there should be 2 x digital and 2 x analogue sockets fitted
The analogue sockets are the 5 pin version.
Ours are simply missing and not fitted.
I'm hoping the wiring is tucked away in the roof.
They are up in the roof now.
There is provision for 4 sockets, two digital and two analogue.
Not sure what the difference in the sockets would be.
Ours has turned up with just the two digital.
Our baler cameras are Motec with 5 pin male plugs which screw straight into the camera terminals on the...
Just received our FendtOne 724 and bugger me they have changed the camera socket in the cab from a 5 pin female to a 4 pin female so now none of our cables or adaptors fit.
Does anyone know if there is an adapter cable or know what the correct description is of the new socket so we can order...
We have an 8712 tedder fitted with Headland Lift Control...apparently it's fitted to it.
In short it appears to have absolutely no effect at the headland.
If you raise the outer sections there is nothing to stop them from continuing on up and wanting to fold into the transport position.
We have a new 4 mtr 750A .
Has anyone got practical experience of the lifting and lowering characteristics of the centre and outer Coulter gangs?
It's quite noticeable that the centre gang and LH side wing lift and lower in relation to each other but the RH side is late lowering and last to lift...
We had the exact problem on our 718 .
Calibrations and settings were fine but it took a software update to cure it.
724 was perfect for 2 years then the same crabbing icon problem occurred immediately after we had Contour Assist loaded.
Recalibrating steering settings has no affect or...
As you suggested Richard, we've altered the hitch lengths to compensate for a steering axle setting so the drill appears to track more accurately on the map.
Still a mystery as to why the implement icon crabs and subsequently maps incorrectly in rigid axle/drawbar configuration.
@Northern farmer, yes we do have the latest SW and we are using the setting that steers the implement to the wayline, that is, the tractor tries to square the implement to wayline.
If it wasn't for Forums like this and Youtube videos we'd be stumped half the time.
In the first picture we are on sloping ground and in the second dead flat.
Not sure if that has any bearing on that wayline in that photo.
Interestingly today, I've run the drill configuration as semi mounted with a steering axle in the implement setup menu.
100% accurate mapping with no...
In this picture, I'm working off the right hand side so the crabbing on the mapping is countered by having the same overlap placed on each bout.
Once you turn back on yourself you then start to get a miss and an overlap as the irregular implement placement becomes apparent.
I'm inclined to agree that if mounted implements aren't affected in the same way, and the problem wasn't apparent before the new software and Contour Assist unlock, it looks more like a software gremlin than a suddenly new calibration issue.
This isn't a new problem as the 718 was doing the...
