    If we can look after it, this would get us through 2 years without much rain. For all we know, it may not rain next year ?

    At this stage, my priority is looking after my soils & trying to conserve as much of this water as I can for future crops. If that means I can’t harvest what is most likely pretty sh!t feed grain, in order to do that, then I’m fine with it. I will try to harvest this crop IF soil conditions...

    So, how long ago was it that I first posted about water running through my crops ? Was it 3 weeks ago now ? Or longer ? I know that the above Durum crop was green & in the milky dough stage when it started. It’s not always dry & dusty here, regardless of what the UK perception may be 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    This is on the ( gravel ) public road. Wheat stubble washed across from the paddock next to it, that had dryland cotton planted in it in October
