    Hardlife tree shear

Mine on my 8t jcb I know it handles it fine with a big tree but with that worm rotator and the extra distance I'd want a 13t on it for my stuff

    Hardlife tree shear

It bolts on so you would have a few bolts to take out of it then your bracket to swap them round but can be done

    Hardlife tree shear

That'll be a heavy outfit. I'd like a rotator for my 300 OMEF but i think I'd need a bigger digger to handle it

Kverneland - Tellus or Tellus Go?

I've got my loom on Anderson connectors to swap between tractors and it works well .

    Hardlife tree shear

Small stuff you need a few bits of it to grab it again . I'm talking about making big stacks for the chipper coming in I'm cutting anything from mixed woodland from scrub to as big as the shear will cut it's only for feeding biomass boilers so just cutting what we can ourselves

    Hardlife tree shear

How do you mean pick up and cut to length? If I cut down a 40ft tall tree that I need to travel a bit to stack it I'll usually drop it to the ground reach over the top as far as I can cut it again pull back cut again so I'm getting 3 or 4 bits grab them all then pile them . We've got one...

Kverneland - Tellus or Tellus Go?

Tellus go for space saving . We got a tellus on a free upgrade in 2017 but if I was doing it again I'd just have a go box . I wanted the tellus so I could see both spreader and auto shut off without swapping page's but now I've had it a while I don't really look at either you just let it all...

    Ploughing with rtk

On land or in furrow? I've 2 kv ploughs both in furrow 1 of them you can plough with GPS 90 % of the time the other absolutely not a chance. I've a mate with an on land semi lemken and he does it all the time he was tell me about setting his gps one day and he lost me 🤷‍♂️

    JCB 538-60

If someone at JCB is watching this can you please change the grease nipple on the back of the boom ram to an angled 1 so you can get to it easier. The last one was the same after they started fitting this big square hydraulic block it's a right pain to get to I'm pretty sure they could fit an...

    Browns post hammer (RSJ type)

A neighbour had 1 that was mounted straight onto the linkage so no side shift like the 1 in the pic has . Ours was as per the picture but with manual adjustments for the hammer and hydraulic side shift you had to be spot on parking up to get the post in a ready pierced hole as there was nothing...

    Browns post hammer (RSJ type)

Yeah we had 1 for years it would put decent size posts in no bother I welded a longer plate on to knock in stabs over the top of wires and get a better hit on big posts they're a simple thing but work fine

    JCB 538-60

Biggest advantage is hydraulics the old 1 a 67 plate if you press the boom down onto something ig wouldn't crowd the bucket back it would lift the main boom but slow so when loading muck if you were squashing it onto a trailer it was crap but this new 1 just works as normal. The joystick is...

    JCB 538-60

I'd say vision is a lot worse with this than the 536.60 especially to the front we're on the muck this morning and need to work with the boom out to see the bottom of the grab. It does but I wouldn't have seen it if you hadn't asked and I tried it Just tried it again I can barely notice it...

    JCB 538-60

This appeared yesterday. Must be lucky as it seems square enough and there's no spacer plates in the axle I'm not keen on the cab they've done the same as others and made a bigger cab but with no more space so gained very little. But we'll just have to get used to it now but I'll still be...

    Hardlife tree shear

My experience of this type of shear tells me they do seem to struggle a lot to get anywhere near claimed cutting capacity. Your biggest mistake was keeping it . We had a grab type and it was sent back after 2hrs chewing through some small stuff nowhere near the 300mm claimed size . Replaced it...

Best farm all round dump trailer.

Yeah wet soil loaded up can weigh plenty. We're considering a trailer like you're asking about like a 20 t dump trailer with hydraulic door so you can get like 12t of grain on and 14/5tof stone with going silly

    The Demo Thread

I know they'll do a 4m Kuhn like that but yeah they need a front press/hopper. I noticed the 6250 considerably lighter than the 7930 on the front
