    Combine pulley wobble

We had a box fail on a tx68. Was cheaper to buy a brand new box from manners combine breakers than buy the parts to repair our own one.

    Cnh trimble auto steer

Would be a Caseih supplied sensor. Have had some progress since I posted originally. The dealer has spent some more time on it and did something to valves on the steering orbital unit. Since then it's been a different machine. Mostly averaging 1.4cm offline now. It's now doing what we thought...

    Cnh trimble auto steer

It's all set up for the model of tractor and when checking the centre mark with a pointer through the drawbar to a marker on the ground it is dead on. Within 1-4mm normally.

    Cnh trimble auto steer

It's doing it with no implements on it. No hydraulic fan running to cause any issues with it. It's like it isn't telling the valves to open and correct the steering until far too late.

    Cnh trimble auto steer

All done by a NH dealer. They are at a loss as well. Had new angle sensor, wiring, updated software several times. Tried different nav controllers, and dome as well.

Have a case ih puma 230cvx steer ready from the factory which was fitted with second hand nh rtk auto steer equipment almost 2 years ago. Has never worked right since it was installed. It just won't drive straight. It can be up to 30cm off line at times but is mostly 3.5-15cm off line. It is...

    Sprayer wheels

We bought a second hand hardi commander 4400i 28m sprayer in the back end. Havent used it yet but we have put a set of 18.4r42 on it. We spray our 40ha of potatoes with a tractor on 18.4r38 tyres anyway so hope there isn't much more damage to the ridges. If we didn't have potatoes we would...

    Nail gun

We bought a hikoki battery nailer after using paslode guns for years for repairing tattie boxes. Always had issues with misfires, and lots of niggles with the paslodes. Have 3 of them and always had one getting serviced/waiting on parts. Keeping on top of cleaning them and using genuine paslode...

    Case CVX 1195 opinions

We got the hubs machined to fit double lip seals that stopped the oil weeps and leaks. Didn't stop the reduction gears in them falling to bits.... the hardening on the gears broke off like layers of flakey pastry and then teeth came off them bursting everything. If the front axle vibrates under...

    Case CVX 1195 opinions

great tractor. the front axle is great for absorbing bumps but as you say can fall to bits with a lack of grease. Hub seals are prone to leaking, front reduction hubs can go bang causing expensive repairs. Front diffs can go bang and loose teeth off of the pinion and crown wheels. In fact apart...

    Case 125 exhsust

Have bought nh exhausts from a company in Northern Ireland. Can't remember off the top of my head what they are called. I'm pretty sure they where genuine exhausts for half the price of the local dealers.
