Are Contractors rates having to go up.

And they're perfectly entitled to. Luckily I don't have many like that but for the odd ones I do, I tend not to go out of my way as much as I would for my regulars.

Are Contractors rates having to go up.

He mentions sleepless nights, shortage of labour, cost of new kit, not being able to justify the diesel price and that it's hard to make any money but "you should do it for love and not the money". Love doesn't buy you new kit nor pay the bills. It's fair to say that most people in the agri job...

They tend only to have new machines there and you can't buy direct as far as I'm aware. Would have to come via KRM in the UK.

Are Contractors rates having to go up.

Most of these situations in contracting are down to the huge increase in machinery costs. I'm aware of R C Baker but know nothing about them. I have worked in the same field as one of their Vredo's applying digestate and having priced one up a week before had some idea of the amount of work...

Looking for a few of these. 10 or 20 would be enough. Anyone know where I could purchase a smaller quantity or have some they could sell me? https://nickersonbrothers.co.uk/ringot/plot-markers/jalonnet-m40-yellow-56325-per-100-detail

    For the Daihatsu enthusiast

I was talking about pulling well for circa 1990. Not comparable to anything of the last 10 or 15 years

    For the Daihatsu enthusiast

Clearly made for farmers. They were great trucks really and pulled well. You knew every time you saw one coming towards you it was a farmer or contractor. Not many other trades would buy them, unlike all the pick ups of today.

Are Contractors rates having to go up.

No doubt that rates will have to go up across the board. I don't think we've seen the fall out from haulage/diesel/wages from a lot of hauliers yet either. Price hikes have started but definitely more to come. We've added pence to our prices for a few years, sometimes nothing at all but with...

    Brian James trailers

We had a Brian James trailer and had to buy the whole lamp. Think there was 2 or 3 on each side from memory? I managed to prize the reversing lens cover off one to rob the bulb but then realised the lens wouldn't go back on unless you super glue it. I'd basically broken it off. Crap design.

    2nd monitor for desktop Mac

So in the picture I posted, are my sockets with the lightning bolt icon, lightning or thunderbolt connections? Same icon for both I believe? It's a 2017 machine I think. USB C looks similar but I don't think its that.
