    Mag drills

Have sold plenty of Jefferson ones over last couple of years without any real issues. We'd sell the basic model at about £380 + VAT currently. Have started to replace the ones in our fabrication workshop with the higher spec ones now and been going well.

    Landini powerfarm 100

Looking at it I'd say it's probably the blue equivalent of a McCormick Cmax but I'm not 100% on that.

    The first domino?

Now that is the million, billion, or probably even trillion dollar question!

    The first domino?

And the moment the masses realise its all a load of fantasy money and that the system is insane is probably about the same time as the whole house of cards comes tumbling down!

    The first domino?

I might be wrong but I doubt it's a coincidence that the price of almost all inputs and outputs are at all time highs at the same time as many countries have hugely increased the amount of money in the system. Money largely has to be invested in something rather than floating around. Even if...

    New Mccormick Tractors

Thanks for Thanks for your insight and knowledge 👍. As I said my knowledge really is more on the new X range produced in Fabbrico. Perhaps I misinterpreted cheaper parts for more cheaply produced parts. Fortunately Argo seem to have learnt from the lessons of the past as we see very few issues...

    New Mccormick Tractors

Good article about the new X7SWB models and a bit about Mccormick in general from the Farmers Guide for those who are interested. https://www.farmersguide.co.uk/high-spec-models-in-a-shorter-wheelbase/

    New Mccormick Tractors

As others have said it's more a case of having somewhere to put stuff. We keep having to put more and more on modern Tractors to satisfy requirements and rules but the physical area to site bits isn't really changing.

    New Mccormick Tractors

Yeah and I think (personal opinion) the new X7SWB look even better. And no, factory colours are only cherry or metallic red with grey or black rims. And great to hear you'd consider a McCormick next time 👍

    New Mccormick Tractors

Rather than me give you reasons or run down the competition why don't you get in touch with your local dealer and book yourself a demo? Yes they have a great product, good warranty options and excellent finance packages, but nothing I say will convince you without you trying one and that's...

    New Mccormick Tractors

Yes and other manufacturers have much larger buying power. It's very chicken and egg. Need to sell more units to increase buying power but could do with lower prices to help improve market share. Its a slow game but we're making progress 👍. At the end of the day Mccormick as we know it is only...

    New Mccormick Tractors

Yes produced in the same factory in Italy.

    New Mccormick Tractors

Yes I think ground was lost as they transitioned from a manufacturer producing at the lower end of the market to one using top quality components and investing heavily in R & D. Also the use of some cheap components to try and gain an edge over Case in the early days has left the perception that...

    New Mccormick Tractors

Correction on the engines used following a message from Mccormick technical. Tier V X2, X3 & X4 are Kohler engines. Tier IV X2 & X3 were Yanmar. Deutz engines in the Orchard and Vineyard models.

Next Farming Equipment & Technolgy Fund

Very simple What options would people like to see added to the second round of the Farming Equipment & Technolgy Fund having now seen the list for the first round? Just thought it would be a good idea to have a place to pool ideas for next time. Rules; 1. List your suggestion and briefly why...

    New Mccormick Tractors

From Jim Glastonbury's "The Ultimate Tractor Guide". Two companies, The Mccormick Harvesting Company and The Deering Harvesting Company merged to form International Harvester so Mccormick was a precursor to IH, not a brand of IH like Farmall. Mccormick name was eventually dropped shortly...

New Farming Investment Fund launched today

Hi @Janet Hughes Defra . Is there a specific site to see all of the different available grants as there seem to be so many which only a few people hear of? I heard yesterday from a customer of one for cubicle mattresses but had no knowledge of it. I've signed up to the future farms blog already...

    New Mccormick Tractors

Very popular in their home market in Italy. Think America takes a bit to. Lead time pre covid tended to run around 3 months. Think that's now more like 5 / 6 months, component depending.
