Milk is heading towards 50p litre ,price of chicken is rising
and been told there is a massive culling of sows abroad so as long as the
end users have a pay rise why should grain be cheap?
There are a lot of what ifs floating about but what if the Ukranians
have little storage and no feasible way of moving vast tonnages come harvest?
£400 t plus possible?It could go either way !
On good years which are 50/50 we've managed to get 10 round
bales to the acre .One year a tight local auctioneer offered me £15 acre
which I declined so i put it baled in the winter collective auction made the
equivalent of £150 acre.

Agronomist near me has been trialling clover in his wheat crop
to see if he can reduce his nitrogen requirements .
