Got 5 beef bulls to go into herd, they haven't been mixed and all separate at the moment... Run them in singles and swap every couple of days? Or pairs and swap every few days? Always been of the opinion 1 bull working is better than 2 fighting, but...

Looks a great yield. Are you dairy? People say let the red clover flower but... at that stage a fair amount of feed value will have gone from the grass, for milking cow grub at least.

Are those nets also for stopping birds pecking through the plastic? That's the main reason we have nets (crows).

For those who run multiple angus/hereford bulls at breeding, how do you get on with the named sire scheme? Not put named sires? Put multiple sires on passport? How many can you put? 4 Herefords raring to go...

We also use a "crow sheet" (heavy gauge net) over the top of the pit, extra weight may help. And if you can, open it the opposite end to the on-coming prevailing wind.

Yes point B is the main issue.

What about chickens following the herd round? Might sound daft but flypor at £1/cow for a squirt would probably buy a few ex layers...
