All sorted guys many thanks.
Just thought I would ask before getting hold of Househam themselves - but yes as suggested they were very helpful.
Thanks again.
Hi all.
Just bought a househam merlin and wondered if anyone has access to a pdf manual for it just so I can have a look before it arrives?
Many thanks
Hi there.
Just having a look at a 618 and wondered what others options are of them or anything to watch out for? Have thought about other brands but this one is within budget for what we require.
Thanks all.
No the soil chap was a complete independent to be honest and hadn't suggested any seed treatments as such, just more of an inquisitive mind in my case on this one.
Hello all,
Now this may be a cat among the pigeons post but looking ahead and having used SP seed dressings for many years now for our seed treatments for wheat and following on from discussions with the agronomist and Soil chap I wondered whether anyone has used and seen any noticeable benefit...
Just seeing if anyone has had any dealings with this round baler before and any advice? We are at the moment looking for a new second hand round baler which ideally would be variable for our silage and straw requirements.
Many thanks
First year drilling with a dts 4. Changing of practice from the old combination and front power Harrow set up slowly. First field drilled with wheat into spring barley stubble in rather unpleasant conditions (in at the deep and muddy end!) since sowing the field has been underwater somewhere...
More than happy for this to be asked and hijacked! I’m still learning too and it’s a good question to ask.
Been having a look at the first field of winter wheat I sowed with the drill this morning with the agronomist and given it was into wet spring barley the point there was a lot of mud and...
Not found it too bad. The fields we have are a pain anyway in many ways, from 3 acres up to 23 acres sizes vary and often not a straight edge but we have what we have and it works. Had only been leaving a 12m headland this last year but might up it to 16 for some fields this next season. I mean...
Running ours on heavy land but mainly flat with a valtra T214, easy going really sitting around 1500rpm at 9k from what I remember. First year going with it so lots to learn from the drill and system (system more!).
Hello one and all!
Just after some advice, we are looking at changing our round baler and have located a mchale v660 in a reasonable price range for us, it's done 32000 bales so far.. We do roughly 1200 bales a year currently and like the ability to vary size for straw and silage. We have had a...
I've done the rape with it so far but was late getting it in this year so can't comment at all yet. Think as stated above take your time seems to be main thing. Not that I am ever not wanting any tips to improve things! I hope your machine suits your needs and works well for you!
Trying it this year to replace dunston. Will be with costello and skyscraper so fingers crossed. First year direct drilling too so toes all crossed too!
