I've got a 1993 3635 that I suspect that the pto is slipping. Is there any simple checks that I can do before ripping it apart to see if the discs are wore out?
Also check the connections on the yellow and red wires that run from the battery to underneath your rhs step. If they are corroded weird and wonderful things will happen.
I've had a similar problem on a 3635, I started it by crossing the starter, then when I pressed in the clutch the autotronic woke up and everything worked as it should. I think it may have been caused by a loose connection on the starter.
Any tips on swapping the 540 and 1000 speed pto shafts? The rollers on the inside bearing are dropping down which makes it very difficult to push the shafts all the way in.
Has anyone got a wiring diagram for the above? My 3635 wont send power to the 4wd solenoid. The button appears to be working correctly and I've replaced speed sensor above the differential and still no joy.
I want to check if there's power coming from the autotronic box plug to rule out a break...
