Do you usually have good cover from blowfly after dipping? Last year I had maggots in fat lambs within 3 weeks of been through the mobile dipper.

His doesn’t go into red at all. My last contractor who gave up bailing ran new Holland belt balers. Bales were worth every penny.

Contractors baler not baling bales properly

My contractor refuses to do good hard bales this year. He will only let gauge go to 12 clock on gauge rather than well in the red as previous years on a mchale Baler. Too much strain on Baler and cost of fuel and wanting to make more sh!t bales for me to pay for which is wrong. We have all got...

Contractors baler not baling bales properly

Cut with conditioner then ted with a teagle super ted woffler day after. YES slower than bailing a raked field but bales are the best. Even flow going into the full width of the pick up reel at all times. Can’t beat it. Bales are a superb shape and hard

    Teagle super ted

Used a teagle super ted for silage since I was a boy. Second one we’ve had. Yes they are slower than a Tedder but Iv got both to choose from. The time you save with a super ted doing it once rather than tedding it out then raking it is a lot plus saves on fuel. I know these contractors do t want...

Getting a dog to work properly.

Had many of the years like that! Typical collie! Giver her time to gain confidence but unfortunately if it’s not in her to push she wont. You said she has got a good out run which is good. it’s hard to get the push and the outrun in one dog. Could be the way she’s been trained as well. Nothing...

    Kuhn 284d

Can’t see any leaks there when the hood was off. What should I expect when I set the gauge? Obviously the gauge increases when you lift the mower at the headlands but should go back to where one has set it when mowing again?

Anybody here with one or a jd 328 could help me? Pressure on gauge won’t stay on 82 bar when I set it in working position. After a few times up and down field and lifting at headlands it goes up to 95-100 bar or sometimes down below 70bar. Can’t get a even cut like this. Changed tap too incase...
