So turns out that just before I said I'd buy the sprayer a different rep sold it , very annoying but been offered a good deal on a 732 instead , only thing is it is set up to go on a higher hitch above the pto , does the drawbar turn over to be standard? Looks a lower sprayer so better for not...
Thanks for the info , great help puts my mind at rest after saying we'd have it 🙈 real straight thing no welds no play in anything, been well looked after , new tyres
Mainly be on a massey 6170 , so there's no technology on that 🤣 luckily Jeremy says the speed sensor is on sprayer its self and the isobus is just for power, my power sockets are wired direct to battery
Thanks for that, I'll just put a cobo plug on it ... do you like your jd sprayer? This is our first trailed sprayer as we are taking more land on and going down liquid fert route so wanted to up capacity from our 1000ltr 18m mounted sprayer and this jd832 was to good not to get
Just been and looked at a john deere 832 sprayer with el4 control box .... was on a new john deere and there was a lead that went to the isobus connector.. I think there was only 3 pins in there so I'm assuming u could replace it with a cobo 3pin power plug as we don't have isobus connection...
@masseybreaker @MF just bought a new accumulator for a 6170 on it says 11bar pressure but read somewhere before that they need to be reduced to 9bar to work properly .. is this true or will it work ok at 11bar thanks
I had a fiddle last night and swapped the wires around on the 2 selonoids and when it was in a on dynashift it selected b and held in it no problem so that rules out mechanical so must be electrical . The brain is what I think it could be ... I'm just worried about disturbing the other tractor...
Swapped the selnoids around as mentioned above and it's still no different .
It tends to be worse when cold then gets better once warm . But some days doesn't .
It's had a new hydraulic pump and brakes it's not the dynashift lever as swapped it with another tractor. It's a great tractor...
How do i set the sensor up ? Tried just moving in and out slightly but can't get it in correct place ? Manual talks about using the tester to set it up
Another problem that's appeared is when you lift the arms up with the rocker switch the arms are going right to top and pumping like they would if you was using the buttons at back to drop hitch. But the lift height switch isn't making a difference to lift height ... any suggestions ?
It's had new pump and brakes fitted thanks massey breaker , good job I did brakes as they was ready for breaking up luckily just done them in time . Steering is cured but still sometimes isn't changing power shifts correctly , sometimes works fine others doesn't select b then when you select...
Thanks will look at that haven't had chance today , did check alternator and that's putting out 14.3v , have just replaced hydraulic pump and brakes so had all wires off but was working fine when put back together, it's going to be a tricky case of finding the broken wire I guess
We have a 6190 were the round buttons at back of cab and mudgaurds buttons work except one but the rocker switch isn't anyone any idea what it could be ? Used to be temperamental every now and then but flick switch half dozen times and worked again , it's had a new rocker switch
It will stay in a all day long but when you go to change to b or c it's straight to d , sometimes it does change to b ,
I normally do 90% of mechanicing myself, and will be fitting a pump myself , a pumps around 400 quid ,
Not sure if u should have a mechanic out to pressure and flow test...
Full service with new massey filters and oil was first thing we did in autumn when we got it , did the auction screen at a later date when I finally managed to find it . ..
Think I best try bleeding the system on that valve , I initially thought a pump and was on the points of getting one...
