    Farming Number Plates

I knew someone with for his birthday had P1 EBT as a number plate for his car, EBT being his initials, P1 meant to, quite tenuously, signify pole position on a race track, he thought he was a rally driver. One day, he was showing off his new number plate to us in the car park when one of us...

    Electricity from solar panels...?

Hello, I have a shed, approx 75ft x 45ft, which I would like to get some electricity to. Is Solar Power a viable option for this? It would not be in full time use, lighting, some Welding, Grinder, Drill, general workshop use really. Where would I start? :)

    Ebay selling very quiet?

I’ve brought a piece of kit on eBay, won it fair and square. From its pictures it’s worth about £1400. I’ve paid £800 odd for it. I’ve very politely made contact, asked the seller for details so I can collect and pay... nothing. No reply, neither do I expect one. There was a David Brown on...

    Ebay selling very quiet?

Possibly a stupid thing to say, but I find that on the whole, the standard of stuff on offer is poorer, or overpriced, or both... It's a shame, Im a big ebay fan, I still maintain that its a great place to buy and sell stuff, but the shine has certainly gone off it...

Plastic free farming - somebody needs to do something.

We bake anywhere between 6000 to 10000 little bales a year and have never used anything else. Pros Kinder on your hands, which some of the horsey people like Kinder on the baler, which is why we insist on it, I refuse to use plastic string. Cons More expensive, by approx 1.5 to 2 times per...
