    JD 2850 Loss of Hydraulics

Is the low pressure oil light only on with the Hi-Lo in high or all the time at tickover?? This light is for the transmission oil pressure. With no or low transmission oil pressure there is no oil supply to the high pressure pump. The rockshaft seals and / or rockshaft valve seals must be...

    John Deere 6420 Intercooler

Now Then.. Being aluminium, you would think it's repairable.. However, it's not that simple. Age, coolant and the way it's made make soldering difficult. We've only ever fitted new ones. If we charge for a repair and it leaks, customers grumble and want it doing for nothing next time. So...

. Types of licence There are 3 different types of operator’s licence for goods vehicles. The licence you need depends on where you transport goods to and from, and who you do it for. Standard national licence This licence means you can carry: your own goods in the UK and internationally other...

    Running a 7.5 tonne truck

I'd read this,,,,,, https://www.gov.uk/being-a-goods-vehicle-operator and speak to DVSA. Don't rely solely on this forum, helpful and informative as folk are. If you get stopped "They said it's OK, on a forum officer" won't go down too well ! !

    Matbro tr200 hydraulic pump

Now Then.. That's the earlier type with the priority valve.. Therfore the more expensive one. It may be possible to replace just the pump 🤔.. Have you flow tested it?? I used to find the bypass valve in the inlet section of the spool valve assembly was often at fault..

    Running a 7.5 tonne truck

One day a year on average, or as I did last autumn all 5 days over 2 months before my CPC card expired. They are valid for 5 years. The driver CPC does seem a waste of time and money. However, it's a bit like the 'Caution, Hot Water' stickers next to the hot tap in service stations and the like...

John Deere experts wanted - parking spring exchange without removing gearbox ?

Now Then.. I'd start a new thread rather than tag onto an old one. Also which gearbox option do you have??

John Deere 6810 transmission sucking screen

Now Then.. The suction screen is in the differential housing. Remove the 3 screws holding the suction line onto the Powrquad, pull the pipe out of the Diff housing at the back. Then pull the filter out. It should be cleaned during the transmission oil change every 1500 hours..

    Class disco 250

It says it's the cutting disk gearbox, I take that to mean the cutterbar. It describes 3 models and 3 different oil quantities due to the differing cutterbar lengths. Therefore it's definitely the cutterbar 🙂

    Class disco 250

Now Then.. Have you looked in the operators manual?? (It may be online).. Or, your Claas dealer will know..

    Running a 7.5 tonne truck

With a car licence you can only tow 750Kg on a 7.5 tonner. I have C+E (old style Class 1) so can pull up to the train weight

    Running a 7.5 tonne truck

Now Then.. Inexpensive 7.5 tonnes are available all the time. If it's light enough it should carry almost 4000 Kg so, more than a pickup and trailer. However, you'll need driver CPC, operators licence, maintenance checks etc
