Soil type loamy clay can only plough 5-6 inches deep and a bit stoney
Have used it successfully on ploughed ground and not had any issues with bouncing so far
Hoping to use it for reseeding pasture rather than ploughing but haven't got to it yet
Went for the packer roller as it's heavier
Have already had two cam bearing bolts break on same cam and had to replace bearing on time arm which seem to have sorted it
Bar was sliding few mm sideways which we think stressed the cam bearing and broke the bolt
Have had to replace around 50 pickup tines in the last 2 yrs and just wondering if anyone else have had this problem
Baler about 3 yrs old and done 14000 bales so not a lot
All broken tines are original tines
Have never had this problem with previous McHales I've had so is it just my baler or...
Looked at going into a environmental stewardship (or whatever its called now) and having looked at my hedges that couldn't be trimmed due to the wet autumn there is no way I can only cut hedges once every 3 years which you have to put some hedges in the scheme
It's ok for the farms with grass...
