    Greasing plough boards

I spray my lathe , mill, drill etc with ACF 50 . Bloody expensive but a superb product , designed for protecting aircraft against corrosion . A 5L can is about 60 quid but would last years doing a thin coat on plough mouldboards . Do the combine header with it also .

Not today but a couple of wks ago , I forgot I took this pic . Combine in distance, baler , and me drilling OSR . All in the same field . Chaser was at the stack unfortunately. Harvested baled and new crop in the ground in under an hour .

    OSR - up and away?

This is a conventional variety sown at 5kg/ha , 400mm rows with a home made drill . Could have got away with 2.5 kg/ha but that’s easy to say now .
