Can you identify this hand tool?

A friend found this when they were clearing out an old shed. Either due to abuse or design the teeth are not set, (but they could have been when new?) The steel is rigid and not designed to flex. Does anyone recognise it or know what it is for. Thanks.

What would you do with a 116 acre shed?

Reports in the paper today that Boeing is thinking of winding down production of the 747. As an aside they mentioned that the shed they build them in was the largest in the world by volume. It was easy to find on Google Earth! The sheds around it are not too small either.

Pulled the headstock off a Kverneland LD85 300

Asking this on behalf of a neighbour, and I haven't actually seen the plough. He has a 'new to him' Kverneland LD85 6 furrow vari-width with a 300Hp headstock. There are apparently four large bolts, with heads countersunk for a 14mm Allen key, that secure the headstock onto the plough beam. In...

Does a Datatronic 2 have a longlife battery?

We don't use the Datatronic on our MF8220 much as it is mainly a loader tractor. The tractor is a 2001 with about 7k hours. A while ago the Datatronic seemed to lose its memory as it would 'factory reset' over night, lose its presets and start 'talking' French. Now it has given up even that and...

    DAB radios again!

My "old style" Pure Highway has died. With a plug in aerial and 12v plug you could move it with you between tractors, combine and pick up. The replacements all appear to have to be wired in. Has anyone recommend a good DAB that can be shoved in a pocket and moved easily?
