Not coming this way I bought some potato grading equipment and it had an inch of dust on it from Holland.
Meanwhile every machine for export from uk has to be immaculate, I know a machine failed last week as there was dust in the air filter!!
It was good to see where all my seed potatoes go. Huge difference in scale from the large growers of well over 1000ac of potatoes each to the small family farms that are still using buffalo and donkeys on their 3ac farm ( growing 1ac of spuds)

I’ve had a 533 pivot for a year now with the vario gearbox..
It took a few weeks to get used to it.
Great for yard work, normally have max speed set at 20k all you use is throttle no need to use the brakes,
On the road it’s ok, flat or gentle slope everywhere at 40k but it doesn’t like hills...
Just back from the show, a lot quieter today, I really enjoyed it, I think it’s a good thing that’s it’s a biannual show.
Real shortages not just in uk but across Europe so if you’ve good spuds in your shed there’s money to be made.
Biggest seed variety in Scotland this year knocked piper off the top, piper has a 30% drop in area for 23.
Cara has the largest area on my farm all for export to Egypt, finished bagging today.
