Best and most simple we have done is home saved winter oats dd after combine. graze of in march with sheep or roundup of prior to dd spring crop. better than a bare stubble all winter.
Not seen a Kuhn working . It appears to be a good machine . What I posted was how we cope in wet ground . removing the p harrow pins on a wet endrigg is easy. removing the seed depth limiter wheels is a pain. I havnt seen a double disc amazone working
In very wet conditions. Remove depth limiter rubber wheels and remove depth control pins on power harrow. so weight of harrow is not pushing down on packer roller. just carry p harrow at required depth. I have never not been able to bury seed on heavy red clay
