Speed is reading the same on the rate controller as gps but the pressure is going up and down a lot was. Was driving at 10km and pressure was jumping from 1.7 bar to 2.5 bar

We’ve a new to us 2010 418 and can’t get it to spray the right volume. Have it set at 160l/ha on the TeeJet rate controller but only once has it put out the right volume. Has anyone any ideas what could be causing this

You can check the bearing if you’ve an inspection camera. In through the fill point. Takes a bit of practice but after a few goes it’s fairly straight forward

I’ve been given a new clutch to try Hopefully it’ll fix the problem but the baler mechanic isn’t optimistic

The problem being that anytime from the bale being 80% made the baler clutch can go off. This is in light rows. The accumulator I know about but from what I’m told it’s a short term fix

We sowed some annual tetraploid ryegrass last September and cut it at the end of October . It was fertilised in January and we mowed it today and will be baled tomorrow. Is it worth fertilising again or will it not produce enough to justify the cost

It’s all about the operator. 3-4 miles is about where their advantage starts to run out but shorter than that and they’re excellent. I know of lads moving 12000 bales a year with them
