That all makes sense, couldn't think that I'd never come across one before..It was in a clip on social media about the 990 so it's their error I've repeated but still it was nice to see something a bit different..
Haven't posted here in a fair while but I thought this is as good a place as any to ask given this is a David Brown thread.I saw this yesterday,it's an old style 990(I think anyway) that would usually be in the red and yellow livery in the white livery that followed. Were these produced or is it...
It's been a while since I've posted on here for various reasons but it's nice to be back to browse loads of interesting stuff(though plenty hasn't changed).. I've posted before about our JD 3200 telehandler,a cracking machine but we've had a few axle/hydraulic/electrical issues as the hours have...
Bloomin' Heck, that's my side of the river, ..not very far from here in the grand scheme of things(20 miles) and I'm right next to the A48 straight into the smoke.. I'm worth more than I thought..
Handy thing to have though.. our old 6748,a cheap 4 wheel drive back in the mid 70's which did years of work here, was very rough in her last days, but even when the brakes were gone, the clutch was slipping and she'd get stuck in gear, and the hydraulics were intermittent... she always started...
A quick note to say that the Prostate Cymru website- www.prostatecymru.com - has not long launched what they call a 'chatbot',the response has been positive so far though it's not quite fully populated yet..it's never a substitute for professional guidance but anyone with questions and worries...
Can you put the feeders outside the walls and put the pipe through the wall to the troughs.Loads less noise of cows bashing stuff with their heads and other than cobwebs and a few new motors the feeders are as good as new..
Interesting stuff,we've been through it on a farmyard here and someone like yourself is the most valuable thing in the process, potential savings in time and cost are sizeable...
Just come across this thread myself too,so apologies if I repeat something that's been said before but it bears repeating endlessly if it can save lives. This last year I've been involved with prostate cancer charity here in Wales. I had no other link before being asked to join Prostate Cymru's...
Somewhere up to 5% show signs of bulling when they're in calf so it's very possible that it's all fine..The heifer might have been bulling and the cow had an itch on her back which also might explain it.. (It's not always good news though,I'm sure most people with cows have the unexpected empty...
Some failure on the tractor you can't see(it's rolled down the slope below the road on the right of picture a fair way)..He came down out of the field with the yellow trailer colliding with the MF on the way through

Working for a good friend of mine and someone a few on here would know I'm sure..It's a miracle that one got out alive never mind both of the drivers(both of whom are blameless)
10hp per foot is a rough guide..as long as you can keep the revs up and blades fairly sharp and not ask too much of it I don't see it's out of the question..We've got a 10ft flail on a 110hp MF which goes fine and we used to run it on a Case 5120 sometimes a while ago and that managed, albeit not...
