We are about half way through our early lambing ewes, just over 200 lambs born and we have had about 15 deformed lambs, similar to Schmallenberg. We are based in North Bedfordshire, has any one who is lambing at the minute had any problems? FJ

Suffolk sired lambs grade sheet above, these were aired by our home bred performance recorded Suffolk rams, born second half of Jan and predominantly fromLleyn ewes. Nearly all of my lambs go locally do are not graded, always good to see some graded to show that you getting the job right. FJ

Thinking of investing in a camera for lambing, has any member used a farming eye camera their PTZ bullet seems reasonably priced at £150. I am sure that the agricamera is probably better but comes with a much larger price tag. Any comments gratefully received. TIA FJ

Has anyone else done their 20 week ultrasound scan for recording? We did ours on Monday and the results were disappointing although the technician said that everyone was disappointed with the results this year. What are other people's thoughts? FJ
