The dual wheel are common on 2wd tractors for added traction. Some say they contribute to packing the ground before it is turned. Useful during the opening split while driving through tramlines.

How did you maintain the same depth cutting the keyway.

Was ploughing with only a light heel mark and a level plough up to recently. Changed the pitch, some difference it makes.

Wondering about making one. Hopefully to get more height for the earth furrow and give a cleaner furrow bottom.

Would have to see the difference. Probably would be an advantage for the chip. Athough front disc could get caught underneath the lift arm. Keeps the front disc away from the hitch too I suppose.

Makes sense. Some amount of possible modifications now unlike years ago.
