Yep J/T and his loud voice in the Taunton Market pig shed brings back boyhood memories, remember when that shed was 3 parts full of pigs...those were the days
On the sheep job, talking to a guy on Weds who said, and many of you may already know this, that he had killed over 4000 lambs through the season on the small lamb job and he said many had done the same, you can only kill then once
i can see now why guys like short wooled hogs to go on roots....had to bring a couple home today that just could not go, put them on some nice grass, hopefully they clean up a bit, just loaded with mud
Do you mean work man like trade...with that number it was bound to be a little less, What time did they start the couples, i know 2 guys that said they were not waiting and went on home....must have been nearly 2 oclock i would have thought...Useless i would not want to sell couples there...
Dont listen is everything on here...some try to catch you out ..ha ha...the price only matters to me when i am Selling otherwise it does not mean a lot
A lot of marts , not all i know, seem to have less week on week which with the trade is surprising...South Molton in North Devon normally gets 1200 hogs this time of year ,yesterday they had less than 700 and everyone saying they dont have many left, i suppose that tells its own story
