Latest milk sample this morning has butterfat at 2.39, it's usually 4 - 4.2. That can't be right, can it? Protein is 3.42, month average over 3.5. 50% of milkers calved in the past 3 weeks. What could have caused this or is it a bad/incorrect sample??

Would it be OK to use garlic licks to aid fly control for dry cows? They'd be removed at calving, or ideally a couple of days before. So would there be a danger of milk taint or would that be gone by the time the milk was going in the tank?? ?
