Who are you buying the RTK correction from?

Why? .... it wasn't Agricar or any other Trimble dealer that made changes necessary and from the threads that have been online about updating systems, you can see that it takes time.

Depends on the age of your tractor but from what I can see, the boss kit from Trimble covers the 200 series of tractor and wouldn't have thought there would be a massive amount of difference between the two models ... again depending on the year. Best contact your local independent Trimble...

The new GFX display from Trimble has been more than impressive and with the new Nav 900 makes it an easier install. I'm sure that your local dealer would be able to provide more information.

You can also get a three day demo for RangePoint from the Trimble website to see if its the right way for you ..... RP RTX has been working really well in a lot of cases but you have to appreciate that it does have its limitations ..... if you want the "easy life" approach then it has to be RTK.

Rather than the 250 what about a 750 LITE? Yes its more expensive but it has a 20cm touch screen rather than a miniscule 10cm screen ... and having to toggle through menus using buttons left and right of the screen ... easily be upgraded in the future and comes with a better quality antenna...

There are transfer kits available from Trimble and one is for EZ-Pilot ..... if all the required cables are tucked away out of harms way, its then a simple case of only having to move hardware parts. The option is available to spend as much or as little as you want .... but surely to have the...

Putting your EZ-Pilot on the combine has more pro's than cons .... why run with a half full header? Have a look at the following link for a rapid transfer kit .... extra expense I know but cuts down the time required to transfer kit between units and could perhaps allow the steering to be used...

The Nav for a CNH Intelliview/Pro display has different firmware than that required to run a CFX/FmX/TMX system - so can't be interchanged. As for moving the FmX across ..... all you have with a Pro screen is just a screen ... the FmX has both your screen and the receiver in one housing ...

What about a transfer kit so you can easily move the system between two tractors? I'm sure that such a kit exists and would be available from your local authorised Trimble dealer ....
